Schalk is the co-founder and Managing Director of Pieterse Sellner Erasmus TRM Tax Attorneys, where he leads the firm`s Dispute Resolution and Litigation division. Backed by a seasoned team of tax attorneys and professionals, he excels in developing strategic solutions to complex tax disputes, particularly those intersecting with administrative and constitutional law.
As a dedicated Tax Attorney, Schalk specialises in tax controversy, representing clients in both the Tax Court and the High Court. He is currently studying part-time and pursuing his Doctorate in tax law and constitutional law, with a focus on safeguarding taxpayers` rights. In addition to his legal practice, Schalk is a passionate tax law lecturer at the Academy of Tax Law.
